1. Introduction

These terms apply to the use of this website and to services booked with Toplana Tours ("we", "us", "our"). By using the website or making a booking, you agree to these terms. Please read them before using our services. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

2. Services

We provide boat trips, tours and transport in northern Albania, including Komani Lake and the Shala River. The duration, price and services included in each option are specified on the website or when you book.

3. Booking & payment

A booking is confirmed after the required information and any applicable payment have been provided as specified. Reservations may be free, while payment for the service may be due in advance or on the day, depending on the tour.

You are responsible for the applicable fees and taxes. We may decline or cancel a booking, including where information is incorrect or conditions are unsafe.

4. Changes & cancellations

If you cannot attend, notify us as soon as possible so that we can try to offer your place to another guest. The applicable cancellation, refund and rescheduling conditions are communicated when booking.

We may cancel or reschedule for weather, safety or operational reasons. We will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative or a refund.

5. Your responsibilities

Arrive at the agreed meeting point on time. Late arrival may result in losing your booking without a refund. You are responsible for being fit to take part and must tell us about medical conditions or disabilities when booking.

Follow the crew’s instructions and safety rules. Guests who endanger themselves or others may be asked to leave the tour. Bring swimwear, sun protection, suitable footwear and other necessary personal items unless the tour states otherwise.

6. Included & excluded services

The price covers only the services expressly listed for your tour. Unless stated otherwise, food, drinks, optional activities such as canoeing or zip lining, and personal expenses are excluded. Optional extras must be paid separately.

7. Liability & insurance

We hold public liability insurance for our tours and services. We are not responsible for loss, damage or injury caused by your negligence or by third parties outside our reasonable control. Participation is at your own risk.

We recommend travel insurance covering cancellation, medical costs, repatriation and personal liability.

8. Weather & natural conditions

Mountain weather and water levels on Komani Lake and the Shala River can change. If the trip becomes unsafe or impractical, we may change the route, delay departure or cancel. We will try to notify you of changes but accept no liability for losses caused by natural conditions.

9. Intellectual property

Website text, photographs, logos and other content belong to us or are used with permission. Reproduction, distribution or modification requires our written consent. If you send us tour photos or videos, you allow us to use them for promotion unless otherwise agreed.

10. Privacy & data protection

We collect the personal information needed for bookings, including your name, contact details and payment details where applicable. Data is handled in accordance with our privacy policy. By using our services, you consent to processing for booking, administration and marketing unless you opt out.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The latest version will be available on this website. Continuing to use our services after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania. Disputes connected with these terms are submitted to the competent courts in Albania.
